Through Abide Well’s Building Department, elderly widows and orphans in Eswatini receive strong, safe homes—built by faith, skill, and local partnerships.
Abide Well’s feeding program serves thousands of meals annually to Eswatini children through local chicken farming, school gardens, and farmer training.

HOMEBUILDING FOR THE VULNERABLE
We build safe, durable homes for elderly widows, disadvantaged families, and, soon, for orphans transitioning back to family units—restoring dignity one home at a time.
FEEDING PROGRAMS THROUGH LOCAL FARMING
We partner with schools and local farmers to feed children in need—over 25,000 meals planned for 2025—while also supporting sustainable agriculture and community training.
SUSTAINABLE CHICKEN FARMING & TRAINING
We train local chicken farmers and equip schools with hands-on agricultural education, creating income, food security, and long-term solutions for rural Eswatini.
FAMILY REUNIFICATION FOR ORPHANS
Through our “Building Hope” initiative, we’ll help reconnect children in orphanages with safe family members—by building or repairing homes and preparing families for reunification.

About us
We're not a big organization. We're a family that said yes—and kept saying yes. From our first days in Bulembu to launching Abide Well, we’ve always believed that Jesus leads us to places others may miss. Through construction, meals, and relationship, we’re showing what the Church can look like when it’s built on faith, presence, and people.
In October of 2025, we’ll return to live in Eswatini—nine years after first setting foot in the small mountain town that changed our lives. As we reestablish our roots, we’re launching Building Hope, a new initiative to help reconnect children from Bulembu’s orphanage with safe, loving family members. Many of these children can return to a parent, grandparent, or extended family—if the home is safe, stable, and secure. That’s where we come in. We’ll build or repair homes to make reunification possible, walking alongside families and social workers to ensure each child is placed in a healthy environment. It’s a full-circle moment of restoration, and we can’t wait to begin.

Abide Well is a faith-based nonprofit focused on practical, relationship-driven ministry in Eswatini, Southern Africa. We aim to make the love of Christ visible through action.

Eswatini is a small, landlocked country in Southern Africa—formerly known as Swaziland. Though small in size, it carries one of the highest rates of HIV in the world and faces serious poverty and food insecurity. It's a place often overlooked, but we believe it's exactly where Jesus calls us to serve

Building Hope is our newest initiative, launching in 2026. We’re working to reconnect children from local orphanages with safe family members by building or repairing homes—creating stable environments where children can thrive in family care again.

Since launching Abide Well, we’ve built dozens of homes and served thousands of meals in rural Eswatini. In 2025 alone, we plan to serve over 25,000 meals to schoolchildren through our feeding programs and build 4 new strong homes.

Abide Well was founded by Nathan and Tia, a husband-and-wife team originally from the U.S. They lived in Eswatini for several years and will return in 2026 to expand their ministry. The work is carried forward year-round by a dedicated Swazi team on the ground

Every dollar goes directly toward our programs—homebuilding materials, food for school meals, farming supplies, and wages for our local team. We’re committed to stewardship, transparency, and creating sustainable impact, not dependency.
