How We Do It?

We do this by building strong, sustainable homes, creating community-led food systems, and offering opportunities for people tolive with dignity, connection, and purpose.

Whether it’s constructing a home, feeding a child, or walking with a family in transition, we remain committed to care that begins from within and flws outward with love.

Building Homes with Dignity

1.IDENTIFY THE NEED

We prioritize elderly widows, vulnerable families, and orphans in need of safe housing.

2.EMPOWER WITH BUY-IN

When possible, the future homeowner helps make concrete blocks or contributes physical labor—restoring dignity through participation.

3.BUILD WITHD EXCELLENCE

Once their part is complete, we begin construction—using durable materials, skilled workers, and prayerful care to create a lasting home.

Feeding Children through local Farming

1.TRAIN & EQUIP FARMERS

We find trustworthy, local farmers and train them in sustainable chicken farming and small business skills.

2.FUND THE FLOCK

We provide the chickens, feed, and resources they need to raise healthy flocks.

3.FEED THE VULNERABLE

Once grown, the chickens are distributed to schools and orphanages—turning local work into life-giving meals for children in need.

It´s not just charity—it´s partnership.

EVERY DOLLAR IS PART OF A CYCLE OF DIGNITY, DISCIPLESHIP, AND DEVELOPMENT.

YOUR GIVING EMPOWERS REAL PEOPLE, IN REAL PLACES, WITH REAL PURPOSE.

Feed The Kids Update

Schools are now back in session and, we are thrilled to announce that the first batch of chickens has already arrived from all our farmers.

We are excited to announce that we have just delivered 800 meals! That’s right, we have now served 800 meals this year and there will be thousands more served in the next month. The number of meals pick up significantly in February, March and April.

We also have exciting news, The number of Abide Well chicken farmers has just gone up! We have two new farmers and here is what they would like to share.

Sbongile Mavimbela, one of our new farmers, shares her experience,

“Before becoming a chicken farmer I ran a small preschool business…Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, I lost a large number of kids and my business stopped bringing me an income.

I could not pay rent for the preschool anymore, I was worried about my son’s school fees and if I would be able to feed my family in the months ahead.

Just when I thought all hope was lost Abide Well showed up and offered me the opportunity to become one of their chicken farmers.

No words can express the joy and relief I feel every time I think about the future. Now I can cover my son's school fees and put food on the table for the rest of my family.

Thank you so much Abide Well for always supporting me and my family.”

At Hawane Primary School, one student said,

“Thank you, Abide Well, for the chickens. We used to eat beans everyday but now we get to eat chicken at least once a week.  This has made many of us very happy to attend school and participate in classes.  The Feeding Program really means a lot to us.  And thank you for teaching us how to raise chickens. We are very grateful for such an important life-skill.”

The school Principal at Hawane Primary School shared these sentiments :

“Abide Well has also taught us how to keep chickens. The children are learning a life-time skill, that even those who may not complete their education can use to support themselves. We really appreciate everything Abide Well is doing for our school.”
